Love my HippoHands. Can ride below 30 degrees in comfort. Check out my HippoHands on this page.
Weekend of wonderful detours. Riding away from the rain led us to the Coast. Within a few miles of our destination at the end of the day, Hwy 1 south of Big Sur was closed. So we got to do Big Sur twice in one day — south and then back north again. Our trip was detoured so we headed inland and discovered exhilarating, curvy roads with roller coaster dips leading into Pinnacles National Park. I see sunshine within driving distance…. Death Valley, here we come!
Continuous rain at this time of year can be so discouraging for motorcycle maniacs. So, we need a weekend escape and are looking for sunshine. We found a better forecast in the California desert a few hours south of Sacramento. Plans are shaping up for a motorcycle excursion next weekend to Death Valley. Check our calendar for more details.
Working on this website, what better thing to do on these many rainy days? Can’t ride :-(. This time for sure my mother was right– I often bite off more than I can chew. Successful in this endeavor means figuring out the DSLR, Lightroom Creative Cloud, and Word Press…WHOA!! If that wasn’t enough, Jon got me a new MAC for Christmas. I have never used a MAC before, but I am loving it! Thank you Jon Baker!
The point is, I am learning, many things simultaneously, and the purpose is to share the joy of motorcycling as a husband wife team with our friends and family. The motorcycling part is the real joy and we are hoping to find others who want to learn and share with us as we explore Northern California and the world.
